Classroom teachers, school administration, school staff, and after-school and summer program providers are key to building a sustainable arts program in their school. Arts @ Large works closely with each individual school in order to address that school’s specific needs and build an arts rich atmosphere that highlights the essential role that the arts and art specialists play in inclusive classroom learning.

75% of Arts @ Large schools that participated in the program for 3 years, from the fall of 2006 through the spring of 2009, retained, reinstated (full or part time) or increased art and/or music specialists in their schools.

100% of schools now in their 3rd year of the program have retained, reinstated (full or part time) or increased art and/or music specialists to ensure sustainability of the program.
