My daughter loves the fact that the activities were designed with all ages in mind. She can enjoy doing a project with her godson (age 6) or her friend (mid 20’s) using the same material provided in one bag. I thank you for keeping families connected.

Jam House

This Open Jam removes the barrier between stage and audience. Anyone in the crowd can go from an audience member to the featured performer while creating songs on stage that are then recorded and given to them the week after the show. Come create and collaborate with some of our city’s best musicians and create music on the spot.

Jam House is more than an open mic with a live backing band; it is a vibrant community space where musicians and artists of all skill levels collaborate to create original music together. All jams are recorded at Arts @ Large and given to everyone that plays!

Thank you to Joy Engine for making this program possible.

Join Jeanne Marie Farinelli and Friends 2/9, 3/8, 4/12, 5/10 and 6/7! Jeanne is an MPS Music teacher at Bayview Montessori and she performs regularly with jazz groups throughout Milwaukee. Piano, amp, PA and drums provided!

Doors: 6:30pm
Jam: 7pm-9pm

Paliafito

With the support of multiple partners, Arts @ Large transformed a .52-acre city-owned neighborhood park into an outdoor eco-arts learning center called Paliafito Eco-Arts Park. The primary goal of the eco-arts learning center is to engage students, families, educators, neighborhood residents, and the broader community in hands-on, project-based environmental and arts learning. Primary features of the park include a 7,000 gallon stormwater cistern, native plantings, an urban agricultural feature, and a performing arts stage. Arts @ Large presents a free concert series, festivals, art making workshops, and environmental education programs that build neighborhood connections in an outdoor environment.
