Community Conversation with the Artist | December 5 | 6pm - 7pm
Award-winning Photojournalist Michael Kienitz calls upon his deep photographic experience to capture the incredible, but disappearing landscape of Iceland’s active volcanoes, ice caves, beaches, canyons, waterfalls, wetlands, black sands, and mountains. Iceland’s Vanishing Beauty features Kienitz’s five-year work collecting images from southeast Iceland’s ice caves and glacial formations in the region’s glacial tongues. Michael Kienitz has been a photographer for more than forty years. His traditional photography has appeared in Life, Time, Newsweek, Elle, Rolling Stone and other major publications worldwide.

Shopping for and financing a home to match your needs is like pairing the right wine with your holiday dinner. Join the Arts @ Large Wine Tasting Team as we sample a variety of reds and whites to best suit your holiday meals. While we taste, we’ll learn what to do before shopping or financing a home, what is affordable, normal down payments and closing costs, and credit report and debt-to-income requirements for home loan approval – techniques that will help you match your home buying dreams with your financial portfolio.
$5 includes instruction, a wine flight and snacks.

Family Arts Day

Don't miss out on our last Family Arts Day Workshop of the year! In this Family Arts Day workshop, our ArtsECO intern Lauren will continue in the holiday spirit by creating a winter craft using watercolors and salt. Lauren will show us how to paint an image using watercolor paints and incorporating salt to create a unique effect.
